In Vietnamese culture, Mid-Autumn Festival is a time of leisure, an opportunity to celebrate a good harvest. Mid-Autumn is also the time when families reunite, enjoy the moon together, eat cakes, drink tea, while children play folk games.

With the idea of making green rice cake, Lam Yen wanted to bring Vietnamese values to the Mid-Autumn Festival gift. Green rice is a precious gift that nature gives to the countryside. When think about green rice, we immediately smell the scent of vast, peaceful rice fields, along with and the sweet, light taste of it.
